The RIVNUT® fastener was invented in 1935. Since that time it has been used in thousands of applications in the millitary, aerospace and industrial markets worldwide and are covered under millitary and national aerospace standards MS27130, NAS1330 and NAS1329.

The RIVNUT® round body fastener installs into drilled or punched holes using hand held tools. They are available in thread sizes from 4-40 to 1/2-13 and M3 to M12 in steel, aluminum and 430 stainless steel.

The Hex Body RIVNUT® fastener installed into hex punched holes and provides the ultimate in spin out resistance. They are available in thread sizes from 6-32 to 3/8-16 and M4 to M10 in steel and aluminum.

  • Full body sharp cornered hex for ultimate spin out resistence.
  • Tapered shank for easy hole insertion.
  • Several grip sizes to choose from.
The RIVNUT® closed end fastener is ideal for use in round punched or drilled holes. The closed end feature seals the threads from the backside of the application. They can be manufactured in 6-32 to 3/8-16 and M4 to M10 thread sizes in steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
  • Closed end to seal threads.
  • Flat or Countersunk heads.
  • Keyed head version for added spin out resistance.
  • Several grip sizes to choose from.
