Bonnet locking Audi A2

The bottom section of the fastener is screw-riveted or riveted to the frame. The top part is firstly inserted into a correspondingly shaped hole in the cover and fastened using a nut. Pressing on the head of the top section of the lock causes the bolt to enter the bottom section, whereby the cross – pin is shifted in front of the locking cam of the locking element. A clockwise 90° turn causes the cross pin to slide over the locking cam, presses against the locking element against the compression spring and engages securely in its end position.
Unlocking occurs in the reverse order, whereby the locking bolt is completely pressed out of the bottom section of the lock by the pressure spring in the top section of the lock.
  • No actuation error possible
  • Reliable even when dirty
  • Ease of unlocking allows ready access
to important service modules which are
    clearly arranged by AUDI

Seat bench attachment in the Vito Kombi people carrier with QUICKLOC® 1500 Series

The locking system stops the seat bench feet in a guide rail on the floor of the vehicle. The seat bench must firstly be moved to the corresponding position in the vehicle on the guide rails.

The handle is then turned down from its upright rest position to a horizontal position. Next, the handle is used to press the upper section of the lock so far down into the guide rail that the cross pin stands at the beginning of the
toothed rack of the upper section of the lock. A 110° turn to the right slides the cross pin against the pressure of the disc springs over the toothed rack of the lower part of the lock and engages in its rest position.

The locking system is opened in the reverse order.
  • Simple and quick handling
  • Fold-away handle prevents the grip from protruding beyond the outer edge of the seat cushion
  • In case of impact, the system withstands a tensile loading of 30.000 N.
