| Panel A | Drill/punch a hole ¯ 7.2 mm in the panel A. Where necessary, countersink this from below. Measure the grip range of the panel (cover). If you are using the fastener complete with a retaining washer, remember to add this to the measurement. Add 0.35 or 1.0 mm to the measurement. |

| Frame B | Punch a square hole in the frame B with the dimensions Y and Z. Insert the receptacle in the frame B. If the receptacle is not countersunk, it will always project 0.4 mm from the frame B. The overall height H is the same and fits all fasteners. The hole geometry is approximate only and depends on the material. Hole geometry will be different if the receptacle is inserted in thick sheet metal or plastic. |
