QUICKLOC® Quarter-turn clamp fastener – Series 25 and 50 |
|
|
|
| System description |
Miniature type: series 25
Standard type: series 50
- A quarter-turn fastener proven for decades in application for tensile loads up to 250 N or 500 N respectively.
- QUICKLOC® fulfils requirements for reducing noise and vibration, provides electric isolation, dust proofing and ability to absorb wide tolerances.
- Preferred application where versatility is required in the absence of severe oil and damp conditions. Simple plug-in assembly of the complete part in the cover and only one hole on the frame, allows low-cost assembly without additional operations.

Function
- To close, the stud is turned to the right, causing the cross pin to ride up the rising plane of the cam, causing elastic deformation of the rubber clamping bush. This bulges and presses against the back of the frame.
- A clearly audible click indicates engagement of the quick release fastener. This indicates that the cover has been firmly pressed against the frame.
- Opening is accomplished by turning the stud to the left, whereby the cross pin is released from the notch in the cam and the contracting clamping bush is released from the frame.

| Functional description of the washers |
1) Anti-rubbing washers
are required only where soft materials or paint must be protected from rubbing by the stud head. Please specify when ordering.
(see Accessories)
2) Intermediate washers ZS
To ensure optimal bulging the clamping bush should not project into the receiving hole of the parts to be joined by more than 2 mm. If this value is exceeded, compensation must be provided by the use of intermediate washers of appropriate thickness.
(order number see Accessories) | 3) Damper washers DS
These are a standard component included as part of the push-in fastener S (1.5 mm). If customers own seals are used, then the calculation must take into account its thickness and hardness. Please consult our technical consulting service.
(order number see Accessories)
4) Head washers
serve as abutment for the pre-assembled push-in fastener S and are included as standard (1 mm).

Leading cone
The leading cone improves the procedure of closing mainly with flaps and doors. Please consult our technical consulting service. | |
