MEPLAG® metal screws with plastic heads and plastic nuts with metal threads combine the hardness of metal threads with the advantages of plastic. Simply the rich variety of design possibilities of shape and color with regard to the end product that is to be equipped means that plastic can be far better rationally exploited than 100% metal components. In addition, there is its corrosion resistance and ability to electrically insulate. Nevertheless, the high hardness of the metallic pin or inside thread is a fact.

MEPLAG® fastening elements decisively increase the operating comfort of modern industrial products. Pleasant to touch and ergonomically designed actuation screws or nuts are being increasingly utilized in the aerospace, vehicle and engine building, electronics and household appliance industries, as well as in series or construction in single units of sports equipment, toys or furniture.

Special designs
Besides the standard designs presented in this brochure, we also produce injection-mould around inserts sample from drawings if you submit production-oriented batch sizes. The above illustration shows a selection of such components that have already been manufactured as a suggestion for the variety of possible uses and designs.

Above and beyond this, we produce precision formed components made of thermoplastics as well as metal extrusion coating (insert technique) in joint development or according to a drawing and model.
